Testimony of Kathy Lee

Introduction

Hi Readers,

My name is Kathy Lee. I am of Singaporean Chinese descent and currently live in a very small town in New Zealand, where there is only one hospital. It’s both challenging and exciting!

This is a four-year account of my health journey and how VigourCells™(VC), along with other supplements from Elixir Botanica, have helped me to this day.

My Health Struggles: A Journey of Faith and Healing

When New Zealand went into a major lockdown in 2020 due to COVID-19, my health began to deteriorate. As a Christian, I knew I had a choice—either to succumb to illness and stress or to trust in God, pray, apply godly wisdom, and move forward in faith. Of course, I chose the latter.

April 2020 – First Blood Transfusion

A blood test revealed that my hemoglobin (Hb) levels had dropped from 110 to 49 (normal range: 115–155). It was a terrifying moment for me, and I had to undergo my first-ever blood transfusion.

May–August 2020 – Failed TCM Treatment

After the first transfusion, I sought help from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician, hoping to improve my red blood cell count. Unfortunately, the treatment failed.

Instead of getting better, my hemoglobin dropped further to 34, much worse than before. I was hospitalized and had my first bone marrow biopsy, which led to a final diagnosis in August 2020.

Final Diagnosis – Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma (SMZL)

I was diagnosed with Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma (SMZL), a subtype of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma—a slow-growing cancer in the bone marrow.

To complicate matters, I also have Beta Thalassemia Minor, a hereditary blood disorder. In simple terms, my body struggles to produce red blood cells, making me transfusion-dependent for life if not managed properly.

Chemotherapy and supporting drugs were the conventional options for treatment, but I prayed that God would spare me from them.

January 2021 – Rituximab Treatment After 10 Blood Transfusions

After 10 blood transfusions, my iron levels started rising dangerously—not good news. My hematologist suggested chemotherapy, but I refused and opted for a less invasive treatment: Rituximab (a monoclonal antibody, not chemo drugs).

This treatment worked well for about nine months.

November 2021 – Second COVID-19 Vaccine

I was doing fine until nine weeks after my second COVID-19 vaccination, when my immune system crashed.

February 2022 – Relapse and Increasing Transfusion Dependence

By February, I relapsed, with 30% marrow involvement and red cell aplasia. By then, I had undergone 21 blood transfusions.

By May, my hematologist brought up chemotherapy again, as I now required transfusions almost weekly.

July 2022 – Chemotherapy Begins, But I Couldn’t Tolerate It

I started chemotherapy in July and managed only two cycles out of six before stopping due to severe side effects.

• Extreme gut pain every time I ate

• Weight loss from 48kg to 43kg

• Thinning hair, dry flaky skin, extreme weakness

• Frozen shoulder (lasting almost two years), loss of muscle mass

• Severe dizziness, heart palpitations, mental fog

I felt like a total wreck.

September 2022 – First Hospitalization Due to Sepsis

After chemotherapy, I landed in the hospital for the first time due to sepsis.

The doctors pumped me full of strong antibiotics, which left me confused and unable to think straight. I was discharged after three days, but my gut pain and weakness persisted.

December 2022 – Second Hospitalization

I was rushed to the hospital again by ambulance for severe gut pain.

Doctors kept guessing what was wrong—first saying it was a urinary infection (negative test), then stomach flu (negative test), and finally blaming it on chemotherapy side effects.

At this point, I felt completely frustrated, weak, and emotionally exhausted.

How I Found VigourCells™(VC)

Lying in my hospital bed, the Holy Spirit brought to mind an old friend, Lee Lee, from Singapore.

After reconnecting, she shared an amazing testimony about her guide dog, Nice, who had recovered from acute liver failure after taking VC.

I thought to myself:

“If VC can work on a dog, surely it can work on me—I’m worth more than a sparrow!”

Lee Lee quickly sent me two bottles of VC as a gift.

January 18, 2023 – First Dose of VC

• I took my first double dose at lunch.

• By 5 PM, I felt hungry (something I hadn’t experienced in a long time).

• I ate like a horse—five spare ribs and a pile of fries!

• NO gut pain while eating!

• My frozen shoulder improved—I could suddenly lift my right hand to my face for the first time in two years!

From that moment on, my life began to change.

How I Take My Supplements

Under Rosemary’s guidance, I adjusted my VC dosage based on my body’s response.

• At one point, I took 6 capsules, three times a day.

• Now, I take at least 2 daily, but I should be taking 4!

Along with VC, I also take:

• Magnesium

• Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) to reduce iron overload

IRON OVERLOAD – A New Battle

Due to over 300 blood transfusions in four years, I developed secondary hemochromatosis (iron overload). My iron levels skyrocketed to 5000+ (normal: 20–350).

Doctors warned me that iron overload—not cancer—could kill me first if not managed.

How VC and Supplements Changed My Life

• Weight increased to 45kg

• Better stamina, clearer mind, improved speech

• Reduced dizziness and heart palpitations

• Thicker, darker hair and healthier skin

• Less transfusion dependency—only 2 or 3 transfusions in 2024!

• Stronger immune system

• Able to drive long distances (6-hour drive in October 2023)

• Survived a severe car crash and continued a 3-week solo road trip!

• Even tried horse riding—until I sprained my back!

Final Thoughts

VC and Elixir Botanica supplements have been life-changing for me.

However, I also believe in balancing natural healing with necessary medical treatments. A healthy lifestyle plays a major role in recovery. I listen to my body, make adjustments, and stay consistent.

I am forever grateful to Lee Lee, Rosemary, and Elixir Botanica for giving me a new lease on life.

If my testimony can help even one person, it is worth sharing.

Blessings,

Kathy Lee – New Zealand
